The patented, wind-protected FluxRing base transfers heat efficiently and evenly into the cup. Heat transfer capacity of 5,300 BTU (1.5 kW), which allows the kettle to boil 0.5 L of water in 2 minutes. The insulated, handled cooking pot also serves as a drinking cup. Neoprene insulation on the outer surface makes it safer to use and saves gas.
