The burner compartment has rubber edges for easy handling. Simple to use: the burner is attached to the cup and the gas is screwed into place. Turn the switch and the piezo ignites the flame. The same switch is used to adjust the intensity of the flame.
The patented, wind-protected FluxRing base transfers heat efficiently and evenly to the cup. Heat transfer capacity of 5 300 BTU (1.5 kW) to heat 0.5 litres of water to boiling in 2 minutes!

Most manufacturers' gases fit the standard Jetboil burner thread. For best performance, we recommend using the high quality Jetboil Jetpower gases (not included). 100g of Jetpower gas can boil up to 10 litres of water. The tank fits inside the kettle along with all other parts.
