Jahti & Vahti Joint Nutrient 400 g Complementary feed for dogs is designed to maintain normal joint function in dogs. In addition to MSM and collagen hydrolyzate, the product contains both glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, vitamin C, amino acids and zinc and manganese in highly absorbable glycine chelate form.
MSM, or methylsulfonylmethane, contains sulphur in an easily exploitable form. The body needs sulfur to form collagen, glucosamine and chondroitin. These are all important building blocks of cartilage tissue, and sulfur-containing substances are also present in the synovial fluid. Yacht & Vahti The glucosamine contained in the joint nutrient is glucosamine sulfate (KCl), which is one of the most absorbable and utilised forms of glucosamine. Chondroitin sulfate, on the other hand, helps to keep cartilage elastic.
The composition of this complementary feed includes fodder yeast, collagen hydrolyzate, glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin sulfate. Protein in the product is 34%, and fat - only 0.3%. Please note to check the composition on the packaging before use.
The dosage depends on the size of the dog and is mixed with food. The dose may be halved to a maintenance dose after six weeks. A measure is included.
