The TEXASHIELD PRO outer fabric is completely windproof, water-repellent and highly breathable. The windproof construction helps block out the effects of cold draughts and retain the warmth generated inside the jacket. The water-repellent surface offers protection from light rain and snow, but this is not a fully waterproof shell jacket. Good breathability, in turn, enhances comfort during active movement.
The Wild Pass Down Hoody M RDS is part of Jack Wolfskin’s 3-in-1 compatible range. Thanks to the system zip and fastening mechanism, the jacket can be zipped into a compatible Jack Wolfskin outer jacket to act as a warm inner layer. It can therefore be worn on its own in dry and cool weather, or as part of a more protective ensemble in cold and changeable conditions.
The fixed hood provides extra warmth and protects the head and neck from the wind. The elasticated cuffs fit snugly around the wrists and help to prevent cold air from entering the sleeves. The adjustable hem allows the fit to be tailored to the wearer and the conditions, whilst reducing draughts entering the jacket from below.
