The warmth of the Iceguard Skirt W is based on high-quality TEXATHERM synthetic fibre insulation. The insulation makes the skirt extremely warm, yet the design remains lightweight and easy to carry. The skirt weighs just 0.24 kg and packs down to a small size, so it’s easy to take with you on a hike, an outing or other winter outdoor activities, and to put on whenever you need extra warmth.
The breathable TEXASHIELD outer fabric protects against the wind and repels water. The windproof construction helps to reduce the effect of cold draughts around the hips and thighs, whilst the water-repellent surface provides protection from light rain and snow, for example. However, the skirt is not a fully waterproof outer layer.
