Ilves Railway sleeper solution Suitable for e.g. for processing terrace foundations or fence posts. Not for walking or sitting surfaces.
USE: Mix thoroughly before use. The treated wood must be dry. Apply Ilves Railroad sleeper fertilizer liberally with a brush or roller or by dipping the product in the fertilizer. Allow to dry for at least 6 hours. Two treatments are recommended. Close the jar carefully after use. There is a risk of self-ignition in papers or rags dipped in the impregnation, so they must be immersed in water or allowed to dry on a non-combustible surface outdoors. Protective gloves and goggles are recommended during use. Do not breathe fumes. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working. Color may come off the surface even after drying, so protective gloves are also recommended when moving treated and dry wooden parts. You can't paint over Ilves Ratapölkykyke impregnate with traditional paint, because the impregnate may seep through the paint, discoloring the paint.
SUFFICIENCY: 3–6 m²/l.
DRYING TIME: Dust dry 6–12 h. After six hours you can apply the second layer. Two treatments are recommended. Full dryness is achieved in 4 weeks.
