Suitable for treating wood surfaces in saunas and other indoor spaces. Suitable for boards and panel walls and ceilings, wooden doors and wooden window frames, and untreated wooden furniture indoors. Absorbs into the wood and forms a matte surface that repels dirt and water. Shade: black Make sure that all paint cans are from the same batch or, alternatively, mix different batches together to avoid shade differences. The tone of the product must be heard, and the type of wood being processed affects the final result. Test on a small area first and let it dry. PRE-TREATMENT NEW SURFACES: Clean the surface of dirt and dust. Moisten lightly with a water mist, let dry and sand off the raised wood fibers. Remove sanding dust. PRE-TREATMENT PREVIOUSLY TREATED SURFACES: Wash the surface with a liquid sauna detergent using a brush (not a pine stick) and rinse the surface carefully. Let it dry for at least the next day. Sand the surface with fine sandpaper so that the wax is absorbed and adheres well to the wood. Remove sanding dust. Not suitable for previously waxed, oiled, painted or varnished surfaces, if the surface is not sanded off. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Protects floors well. Mix Ilves Sauna wax carefully. Apply with a brush or sponge once in the direction of the grain of the wood. Let it dry and repeat the treatment the next day if necessary. The second treatment deepens the color of the colored sauna wax. Apply the product thinly, do not make too thick layers. Preheat the sauna before use and ventilate it well. Coverage: 10–14 m2/l, depending on the wood quality. Drying time: Dust dry 1 h, can be repainted 12 h. Use dry after a day. WORKING CONDITIONS: The treated surface must be dry and dust-free. Air temperature at least +5 °C and relative air humidity below 80%. Transport and storage: Transport in an upright position and supported. Protect from freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
