Water-based semi-matte surface paint for wooden fences,

USER MANUAL Painting wooden fences: Remove any resin from knots with a steel trowel. Wash moldy or algae-covered surfaces with a mold remover and let the surface dry thoroughly before painting. You will get the longest lasting results when you first prime untreated boards with an exterior primer. Ilves Aitamaali is applied as a top coat over the primer. If the surface has been previously painted and is firmly attached and does not crack, you can paint directly over it with Ilves Aitamaali. Paint the ends of the boards carefully so that water cannot be absorbed into the structure in the direction of the wood grain. In addition to fences, Ilves Aitamaali is also suitable for eaves and corner boards.
APPLICATION METHOD: Brushing, rolling or spraying.
COVERAGE: On sawn wooden surfaces approx. 5–6 m²/l. On planed and previously painted surfaces approx. 8 m²/l.
DRYING TIME: 1–2 hours at +23°C and 50% humidity. At lower temperatures and in humid weather, drying time is longer.
GLOSS LEVEL: Semi-matte.
WASHING TOOLS: Water.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The surface to be treated must be dry and dust-free. The air temperature must be at least +8 °C and the relative humidity must be below 80%.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE: Transport in an upright position and supported. Protect from freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
