Dosage/Administration. For adults and people over 16 years of age.
- Treatment should begin as early as possible after the onset of vaginitis symptoms. The vaginal tablet can be used during menstruation, but a heavy menstrual cycle may cause the tablet to slip out of the vagina, which will reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
- Wash your hands before inserting the tablet. Carefully insert one vaginal tablet as deep into the vagina as possible (like a tampon).
- Wear a panty protector and insert the vaginal tablet preferably before bedtime, as sometimes the vaginal tablet does not dissolve completely and may come out partially. However, this is not a problem as the ingredients have already started to take effect.
- Symptoms may disappear after 3 days of treatment. However, use the vaginal tablets for the full recommended treatment period, if symptoms have improved but not completely disappeared, you may wish to consider a further 7 days of treatment. If symptoms do not improve or worsen, consult your doctor.
