The ax is forged by hand. The method is expensive, but it increases the density of the steel and the durability of the axe. There are only a few blacksmiths left in the world who still master this craft. Our axes are made from Swedish flat and high-quality ax steel. Cheap axes from the Far East on the market are often made from scrap steel. Our hardening method leaves a clear hardening zone, thanks to which the ax can be sharpened again and again without losing its sharpness and durability. If used correctly, our axes will last from father to son.
The forged blade, shaped for splitting wood, is sandblasted and protected with a clear varnish. The heavier model is best suited for chopping large trees, the lighter one mainly for making smaller firewood. The curved handle is made of hickory wood.
