MS cottage windows are made of selected pine, the outer frame and frames may have finger extensions. Surface treatment: Unpainted (protectively treated) windows are treated with a water-based wood preservative, which provides short-term protection against rot, blueing and mold (approx. 1 year). In the longer term for outdoor use, post-treatment with a pigmented surface treatment is recommended. Glazing: The inner and outer frames have flat glass (float 4 mm) as standard. Glazing moldings are wood. Sealing: The windows have simple sealing (TPE). Frames: Chromed surface frames on the windows.
