The louvres for HR Windows' cottage windows are made of selected pine. Treated with a water-based wood preservative that provides rot, blue stain and mildew resistance, the windows and grilles should be treated to a finish within a year of installation, for example with a mortar-based paint. Fixing hardware included with the grille.
