As a material, teak is very durable, it can withstand various weather changes as well as heat and temperature fluctuations. Teak furniture should be cleaned and treated with suitable wood oil before use. It is good to treat teak furniture with wood oil also during the season. Treatment times depend on weather conditions and where the furniture is placed. Unoiled teak ages gracefully with gray support. The product's color tone and wood texture may vary slightly, as it is a natural material. The original color can be regained by cleaning, sanding and oiling the wood. At the end of the summer season, the furniture is cleaned and oiled before storage.
