The beautiful Helmiäinen colored frying pan is completely non-toxic and PFAS-free. For healthy cooking, the products of the Royal Pearl series are 100% non-toxic, starting from the product manufacturing process.
The Royal Pearl series for all stoves is an ecological frying pan series: due to its excellent thermal conductivity, it consumes very little energy, and due to the durable coating, the product lasts a long time.
Thanks to the sturdy aluminum frame, the heat is evenly distributed and the ceramic surface of the pan is easy to keep clean. You don't heat the pan when it's empty! We do not recommend storing food in a coated pan for long periods of time, as the acids in the food may damage the coating.
An alternative to a PTFE-based coating containing PFAS chemicals is a PFAS-free sol-gel coating, the main components of which are inorganic and organic salts of silicon, the second most common element in the earth's crust, silicon dioxide, sodium silicate and methyl trimethoxysilane, and water.
Soli-gel technology can be used to produce environmentally friendly coatings on various materials at low temperatures, saving energy.
