The Revontuli watch’s dial is crafted from genuine Finnish birch, which has been stabilised to a green hue. This stabilisation process gives the wood a unique colour palette and ensures its durability. This technique is entirely unique in wristwatches.
Flamed birch is a type of birch wood characterised by its wavy grain. In rippled birch, the undulating grain patterns are entirely unique, much like the Northern Lights visible in the sky. Rippled birch is an exceptional characteristic found in birch, making it a rare and highly prized timber. It is both a hard material, making it suitable for watches, and striking thanks to its unique grain pattern.
The strap of the Northern Lights Ebony (40mm) watch is made from genuine ebony. Ebony is an extremely durable material for watch straps. The hardness of the wood ensures the strap’s longevity.
OULU DESIGN, SWISS MOVEMENT
Revontuli watches are the culmination of a long design process. The aim was to create a striking wristwatch with a classic, eye-catching colour scheme and design, as well as a touch of boldness.
In addition to the dial and strap, the back of the watch, which rests against the wrist, is made of wood, making the watch feel soft and light against the skin. We selected top-quality materials for the watch. Walnut is a highly regarded and durable wood that is easy to work with. It also has a beautiful grain, making it an excellent choice for a watch.
The Northern Lights watches are fitted with a high-quality Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement, which is extremely accurate. The first links of the strap are made of metal, ensuring the watch is exceptionally durable for everyday use.
A WATCH FULL OF QUALITY AND STYLE. TIME LOOKS GOOD.
The watch is made exclusively from high-quality components. It is powered by a high-quality Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement, which is extremely accurate. The first links of the strap are made of metal, so the watch is exceptionally durable for everyday use. The sapphire crystal ensures that the glass remains scratch-free.
