The unit's drying, chopping and fermentation functions speed up the decomposition and composting process to a fraction of the time of a traditional composter. The Green Land eComposter ferments kitchen waste as it is, but the process can be speeded up somewhat and a steady composting can be ensured by adding Green Land eCompost starter to the waste.

The Green Land eComposter's sleek appearance and compact size allow it to be placed and used on the kitchen or utility room worktop. eComposter is extremely easy to use and requires no user intervention during operation. eComposter is also extremely quiet. During operation, the noise level is less than 49 dB.
The odourless operation of the Green Land eComposter is ensured by the replaceable activated carbon filter. Depending on the amount of use, the replacement interval of the activated carbon filter ranges from a few weeks to several months. Apart from light cleaning and replacement of the activated carbon filter, the user does not need to take any other steps to maintain the device.
The user can increase the convenience of the device by purchasing a second e-Compost container as an option. In this case, one container can be filled on the workbench and the other in the eComposter to produce the nutrients. With two containers, use is easier and tidier, with no need to move kitchen waste from one container to another or store it separately.

Energy consumption is affected by the moisture content of the kitchen waste and the softness of the material. Soft and dry waste will compost in up to a few hours, but waste containing wetter and/or harder material will take longer to compost.
We do not recommend putting soups, jams and other water-rich waste into the composter. eThe composter will handle these too, but may need two or three consecutive processing cycles before the process is complete.
