Green Land thermal composter is designed for efficient composting of household waste. It is compact in size, with an internal volume of 110 l, and is perfect for households of 2-4 people or leisure apartments. Food scraps, fruit and vegetable stems and peels, coffee grounds and other kitchen waste turn into soft soil in a few months. The adjustable ventilation valve can be used to aid and adjust the composting process. The internal temperature of the composter is easy to monitor with the thermometer placed on the front panel. The lid of the thermal composter is hinged with metal hinges and the lid's automatically locking latch keeps the lid open when filling compost and servicing. The liquid formed during composting can be easily used, for example, as fertilizer for garden plants through a hose equipped with a tap. The composter has a large and easy-to-open hatch for emptying the finished compost material. A garden shovel is included, with which emptying can be done conveniently. The Green Land Lämpöcompostori is designed for year-round use. Thanks to the thick thermal insulation, composting continues even in the winter season, if there is enough compostable material in the composter, which is added regularly. Compost bedding is recommended to be used more in winter than in summer. If the composter freezes, it will not be damaged. Composting continues when the compost has melted. Näppärän kokoinen pieni kompostori yhden hengen talouteeni. Kompostorin kantta ei kuitenkaan saa kunnolla tiiviisti kiinni. Jos edessä olevat säädettävät kiinnitysosat kiristää, ne eivät pysy kiinni vaan ponnahtavat auki. Ja löysälle jätettäessä kansi puolestaan ei sulkeudu tiiviisti, jolloin mm. vesi menee sateella sisään, ja kylmällä ilmalla kompostoriin pääsee kylmää ilmaa. Ehkä tämän kompostorin voisi sijoittaa johonkin katokseen, vajaan tai autotalliin tms, jolloin edellä mainittuja ongelmia ei olisi.

Muuten toiminnasta ei osaa vielä sanoa, onhan kompostori ollut käytössäni vasta kuukauden ajan.

Pieni kompostori

Toimitus nopea. Kompostorin nesteenpoistoletkun kierreosa oli irronnut ja karannut sisäpuolelle, joten letkua ei saanut kiinnitettyä kuin omalla reikäpanjelipatentilla ja lisäruuveilla.

Green Land poistoletku

Tuote vastasi täysin sitä mitä odotin. Tukevan tuntuinen.  Sopiva 1-2 hengen talouteen.  Tulokssen näkee sitten myöhemmin.

Toimiva lämpökompostori

Kannen salvat ponnahtavat herkästi auki, pitää jättää aika löysälle (onko silloin riittävän tiivis?) Jos salpoja kiristää, niin heti ponnahtavat auki.

Kompostorin tiiviys?

Hyvältä näyttää ei vielä ole ollut kuin viikon käytössä

Näppärät kompostorit vähän biojätettä tuottaviin talouksiin. Sopii hyvin eläkeläistalouksiin joissa biojätteen tuotto pientä, jopa kahdelle taloudelle.

Aivan hyvä minun pieneen talouteen, ensikertaa opettelen-eiköhän se siitä. Pitääkö muuten mittaria laitettaessa paikalleen, ottaa se kumi siitä neulan päästä pois. Olisi ystävällistä jos saisin vastauksen.

Lämpökompostori

Tyylikäs, vastaa täysin odotuksia, käyttöönotto onnistuu, kunhan tavalla tai toisella hankkii myös kuiviketta. Biojätteen ja kuivikkeen kerrostamisohjeita voi tosin joutua tulkitsemaan omatoimisesti. Ei kyllä ala kompostoida ennen kuin pitkälti vasta seuraavana kalenterivuonna, jos/vaikka ottaa sen kotikuntavelvoittavasti käyttöön vaadittuun ajankohtaan mennessä, Suomen ilmastossa liian myöhään. Kompostoitumisen alkamista odottaen siis vasta joskus hamassa tulevaisuudessa...  sillä aikaa etupaneelin lämpömittaria ihaillen.

Muuhunkin käyttöön tulee perehtyä, kuten mihin ja miten edullisen kätevästi kerätä biojätettä kotioloissa, heikkoihin muovisiin/ko tai vuotaviin paperisiin/ko biojätepusseihin, joista lisäkäyttökustannuksia, vai johonkin sanomalehtipaperilla vuorattuun astiaan, josta sitä kävisi kippaamassa kompostoriin.

Kirjaimellista käyttökokemusta siis ei vielä lukuun ottamatta virittämistä odottamaan seuraavana vuonna uuden mullan syntymistä. Ensisijaisesti kaikesta huolimatta tavoite jätteen synnyn ehkäisy edelleen viimeiseen asti, ei sen tuottamista kompostorille.
