The Gitzo GT3532 is a standard-height, 3-piece, 3-series carbon fiber tripod designed to securely hold professional cameras with 300mm lenses (up to 400mm lenses) while still being easily portable. The stand has Carbon eXact tubes with larger leg diameters. The diameter of the upper part of the legs is 32.9 mm, and the high modulus carbon fiber in the lower parts of the legs makes this tripod much stiffer and stronger than its predecessor.
The Gitzo GT3532 weighs only 1.88 kg, has a height of 161 cm and folds to 64 cm. This tripod is the perfect choice for professional photographers who want top-level rigidity and reliable support that's light enough to carry for hours on hikes in the wild. The central column of the tripod can be easily removed, so it turns into a tripod for use in the field and photographers can shoot the most different perspectives. It also has a pivoting center column.
The three-piece legs of the Gitzo GT3532 are secured with a G-lock Ultra twist lock with a built-in O-ring to keep dirt and dust out of the leg mechanism. The upper spindle of the stand has been redesigned for more rigidity, and the large leg angle selectors provide a wider grip surface for adjusting the angle of the legs. The stand has a stabilization hook in the center column, which adds weight and increases stability when needed. Its interchangeable legs allow the stand to be changed and adapted to all types of surfaces. A wide variety of heads and other accessories can be easily attached using the 1/4" and 3/8"" mounts on the top plate.
