Gerber Paraframe Mini FE is the smallest model in the Paraframe series and a lightweight folding knife for everyday use. Its open body structure represents a minimalist design: there is no extra material and every detail serves a clear purpose. The result is a knife that is easy to carry, easy to clean and easy to open.
The small size makes the Mini particularly discreet to carry - the overall length when opened is just 13.3 cm and the weight is 45 grams. The knife fits effortlessly into a small pocket and will not be an unnoticeable nuisance in a trouser pocket. Despite its small size, the knife has a smooth, functional blade for opening packages, cutting string and other small cutting tasks.
Attachment is easy with one hand thanks to the thumb grip on the blade. The frame lock locking mechanism is one of the most reliable locking methods on a folding knife: one half of the handle flexes against the hilt of the blade, locking the blade firmly in place until the lock is deliberately released.
The handle is made of stainless steel, which is durable and looks stylish even after long use. The open body design makes the knife lightweight and easy to clean - dirt and debris won't get trapped inside the handle, as can happen with closed models. A sturdy pocket clip keeps the knife securely in place in a trouser pocket or belt loop.
