The Gerber LST is the classic model that revolutionised the folding knife market in the 1980s. The original LST was the first of its kind: a lightweight, smooth and durable folding knife that fit discreetly in your pocket. The redesigned LST retains these same qualities, but introduces a few modern improvements - including a new detachable pocket clip.
The knife is a traditional and simple folding knife, perfect for everyday use. The modified smooth clip point blade is versatile and can be used for opening packages, cutting string and small cutting tasks. The blade is made of 440A stainless steel, which offers a good balance between durability, sharpness and ease of maintenance.

The thumb hole in the blade makes it easy to open. The classic lockback locking mechanism holds the blade firmly in place during use, and the blade only opens when the lock is deliberately released. A sharpening choil at the base of the blade makes it easy to sharpen the blade evenly over its entire length.
The handle is made of fibreglass-reinforced nylon - just like the original model. The material is lightweight but strong, and its surface texture keeps the grip firm even in damp conditions. The knife weighs just 37 grams, so you'll barely notice you're carrying it.
A removable pocket clip is included, allowing you to carry the knife securely on the edge of your pocket, or leave the clip off if you want the knife to travel freely in your pocket. There is also a cord hole at the end of the handle for attaching a carrying handle.
