TWO WAY MESSAGES
You can send text messages to your loved ones, post on community services, or communicate from one inReach device to another on the ground.
INTERACTIVE SOS ALERTS
In an emergency, you can send an interactive SOS message to the Garmin IERCC center, which is an emergency service coordination center that is always open.
LOCATION SHARING
Share your location with your family at any time using the MapShare™ page or coordinates embedded in messages.
GLOBAL NETWORK OF SATELLITE
Instead of a cellular network, messages, SOS alerts and location tracking data are transmitted via the global Iridium® satellite network.
FLEXIBLE SATELLITE CONTRACTS
To use the Iridium network and communicate with the inReach Mini 2 device, an active satellite service subscription is required. You can choose an annual contract or a flexible monthly contract.
COMPACT, ROBUST CONSTRUCTION
Don't let the 4″ x 2″ size and 100 gram weight fool you. inReach Mini 2 is shockproof (MIL-STD-810) and waterproof (according to the IPX7 standard).
TRACBACK ROUTING
If you happen to get lost, the TracBack routing function guides you along the same route to the starting point - directly with the help of the device.
DIGITAL COMPASS
Accurate directions even when you're not on the move.
BATTERY LIFE
The internal rechargeable lithium battery lasts up to 14 days in the default 10-minute tracking mode, and up to 30 days in power-saving mode.
INREACH REGULATION FORECAST SERVICE
Get detailed weather updates on your inReach Mini 2 or a paired compatible device. You can even request weather forecasts for your current location or any other waypoint or destination.
UNLIMITED CLOUD STORAGE AND TRIP PLANNING
You can use the cloud-based Garmin Explore website for free: plan trips on your computer, create predefined messages, synchronize and manage device settings and much more.
