The durable eTrex32x GPS handheld device has a sharp 2.2-inch color display. The device is preloaded with European TopoActive maps, with routing along roads and paths for cycling and hiking. Thanks to the microSD™ card slot and 8 GB device memory, additional maps can be loaded into the device. Dual satellite support (GPS and GLONASS) ensures that positioning is successful in more challenging terrain than with GPS alone. The eTrex32x hand-held device has a three-axis compass that shows the direction even when standing still, even if the device is not straight. The device also has a barometric height sensor, which determines the height based on the variation in air pressure. By following the variation of air pressure over time, the user of the device can monitor changes in weather conditions.
