The Fronius Smart Meter TS is an industrial and commercial-grade two-way smart meter that helps optimise the consumption of a photovoltaic system, records the load curve and controls various energy flows. Thanks to highly accurate measurements and fast data transfer via Modbus RTU interface, dynamic feed-in control when setting feed-in limits is faster and more accurate than with the S0 meter.
In combination with Fronius Solar.web, the Fronius Smart Meter TS provides a clear picture of the household's power consumption, and enables dynamic load control or energy storage control. Compatible with Fronius inverters.
It is recommended to install the Smart Meter TS in the main panel as master meter and to install a second Smart Meter TS (slave) to monitor the consumption of a heat pump, for example. Via the Solar.web application, the power consumption can be conveniently monitored and optimised. A Smart Meter is also required if you want to install a Fronius Ohmpilot solar power controller to optimise the solar energy input.
