Foscam FNA216H is a powerful 16‑channel NVR recorder that is excellently suited for larger surveillance systems in businesses, housing cooperatives and properties. The recorder supports up to 16 UHD surveillance cameras and provides precise 4K output through HDMI and VGA connections. Each channel can be assigned its own recording settings, and recording can be done based on a schedule or motion detection. Thanks to H.264/H.264+ compression, recordings take up less space, and operation is possible directly from the screen with a mouse or remotely with the Foscam app and VMS software.
The recorder supports simultaneous playback of up to 16 channels, and in playback mode it is possible to use slow motion, fast forward and frame‑by‑frame browsing. The device has two internal hard drive slots, into which a total of up to 32 TB of storage (2 × 16 TB) can be installed. This enables long‑term recording even at high resolutions and with multiple cameras. Through the USB ports, a mouse or an external storage device can be connected for backup purposes, and the recorder supports common network protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, SMTP, DHCP and RTSP.
The compact body and light weight make placement easy in different environments, and the device operates reliably at temperatures from 0–50 °C.
