Foscam D8ET camera is equipped with an IK10‑rated protective dome against impacts. This UltraHD level 8MP 4K camera (3840x2160 pixels) also includes motion detection that distinguishes between people and vehicles. The camera’s network connection works via an Ethernet cable, and its power supply is provided either through the same cable with PoE or from mains power. The camera also has a slot for a microSD memory card up to 512 GB, on which the camera can record continuously, on a schedule, or when motion is detected.
Video, intelligent motion detection and settings can be managed in real time with the Foscam app (Android and iOS) and the Foscam VMS software (Windows and macOS). In the settings you can, for example, adjust the sensitivity of motion detection, define the email address to which video images are automatically sent when the camera detects movement, modify more extensive alarm functions, network settings, audio recording and much more. In addition, the motorized pan/tilt control enables a wide surveillance area with a single camera, and the control is easily operated from the app or an NVR system.
