Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is a root plant known as a superfood that grows in the Peruvian Andes in challenging conditions, where weather conditions vary greatly from cold to hot. It is also known as Andean ginseng, or Peruvian ginseng. Maca has a history of thousands of years of use in Peru.
Our pre-chopped maca powder is easier to digest in the intestines because the Maca starch has been removed from it. It is a significantly more stomach-friendly option than traditional maca. Add maca to smoothies and other snacks and desserts. The taste of maca can be enhanced with, for example, fresh and fruity lucuma.
Ingredients: Organically produced, pre-crushed maca powder.
Packed in a facility that processes nuts (cashews, Brazil nuts, pecans, pistachios, macadamias, hazelnuts, walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds, and whey protein (from milk).
Dosage/Usage: It is recommended to start using Maca in moderation, 0.5-1 teaspoon per day. The dose can be gradually increased up to 4 tablespoons. It is recommended to take a one-week break from using Maca every time after three weeks of use.
