The Ruike F186-MG is a sturdy and versatile fixed blade knife, ideal for hunting and everyday use. The blade design is designed to provide excellent cutting performance - thanks to the flat grinding angle - but the 3.6 mm thick blade also makes it extremely durable for heavier use.
Micarta handles fit the hand perfectly and provide a firm grip even in wet conditions. The reinforced tip at the back of the knife can be used in an emergency, for example to break a window.
The blade of the Ruike F186-MG is made of D2 tool steel, which has been used reliably in various cutting tools since the Second World War. D2 is hard, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness for a long time. However, it is worth noting that D2 is not completely rustproof - it can darken or even rust if not properly maintained. Regular cleaning and drying after use and occasional oiling will significantly extend the life of the blade.
