EXPED Ultra 3R Duo M is an ultra-lightweight three-season sleeping bag for two. It is designed for hiking, trekking, bikepacking and other muscle-powered adventures where low weight, good packability and reliable insulation are crucial. The duo design offers plenty of space for two without compromising on warmth or functionality. The platform has two separately inflatable sides, allowing for individual comfort even when sharing. When used alone, it is sufficient to fill only one side, making the platform a lightweight and compact sleeping platform for one person.
The platform is based on SynMat Technology™ construction, with recycled Texpedloft™ microfibre insulation laminated directly into the air passages. The structure provides even and effective insulation over the entire sleeping surface and reduces cold spots even when the temperature drops. With an ASTM-tested R-value of 2.9, the Ultra 3R Duo is suitable for use down to temperatures around -5°C, making it an excellent choice for spring, summer and autumn.
Ultra 3R Duo M is 7 cm thick and features EXPED's Comfort Cradle™ construction, with larger side channels for added stability and to help keep both users centered on the platform. The three-dimensional baffle structure enhances sleeping comfort, increases stability and creates a flatter sleeping surface - despite the lightweight construction.
The cover fabric is made of recycled 20D ripstop polyester with TPU lamination and is bluesign® approved, ensuring a durable yet lightweight construction for active use. The chassis is equipped with EXPED's FlatValve valve for quick and effortless filling and emptying. The included Schnozzel Pumpbag allows for efficient filling without moisture entering the chassis.
