Large capacity and reliable combustionThe Ekohytte Combust incinerating toilet is suitable for daily use by up to 12 people. The unit’s efficient combustion process ensures reliable combustion every time it is used.
Energy-efficient and smartA thermostat-controlled heating element optimises the combustion process in an energy-efficient manner. A single combustion cycle lasts approximately 90 minutes; the unit automatically adjusts the duration of consecutive combustion cycles to save energy. The toilet can also be used during a combustion cycle.
Safe and durableThe sealed combustion chamber and high-quality components made from galvanised steel ensure safe use even during the combustion cycle. The unit is IPX4 splash-proof and CE-marked. Its simple design and reliable drainage mechanism ensure a long service life.
Easy installationWe recommend installing the Ekohytte Combust using two 110 mm flue pipes (inlet and outlet) through the wall. The inlet pipe is fitted with a manually operated shut-off valve, which can be closed when the outside temperature drops. A closed valve prevents cold air from flowing into the room. The Ekohytte Combust combustion toilet is designed to operate even without the intake pipe, so closing the valve does not interfere with the unit’s operation.
A ready-to-install ventilation pipe kit is available as an optional extra.
Easy to use and hygienicIt is easy to use:
- Connect the unit to the mains and turn the power switch to the ON position
- Insert the disposable protective bag
- After use, press the mechanical pedal – the bag will drop into the combustion chamber
- Start the incineration process using the button at the back of the seat
The ash container should be emptied approximately once a week during continuous use.
