4K UHD resolution
The ColorEdge CS2740 is the first CS series monitor to implement 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), which is four times larger than Full HD. A noteworthy detail ensures that high-resolution photos and other content are displayed accurately. The 27-inch screen offers plenty of space to easily display Full HD content and enough space to display toolbars, palettes and other windows or applications at the same time. This makes the display versatile for editing photos, videos, designing and other types of creative work.
High pixel density for smooth images
The traditional display shows Full HD with only 96 ppi. The ColorEdge CS2740 has almost double the pixel density at an incredible 164 ppi for a 4K display that has never looked smoother. Alphanumeric characters and outlines are distinguished with excellent sharpness, so you can check even the finest details without zooming.
Single cable connection with USB-C
The ColorEdge CS2740 includes a USB-C connection with a 60W power supply. With one USB-C cable, you can display videos, send USB signals and supply power to a connected device, such as a smartphone or laptop. Just plug in and be creative without worrying about extra wires.
ColorNavigator 7 software
ColorNavigator 7 is the latest calibration and quality control software for ColorEdge displays. It combines all the features of EIZO's previous color management software, ColorNavigator 6 and ColorNavigator NX, to create a new and improved solution for creative work in multiple fields. Own software makes calibration quick, easy and provides predictable results for photography, design, print and video works.
Quick Color Match software
Even with all the right equipment, color matching can be a tedious process - from adjusting your monitor to determining the best editing software and printer settings - getting an accurate printout takes a lot of time. Quick Color Match greatly simplifies the process by automatically adjusting your monitor, editing software and printer settings to the ideal settings so you can focus on editing your photos and printing your work quickly and effortlessly. Just drag and drop a photo into the Quick Color Match window to start the process automatically.
Vibrant colors are reproduced according to industry standards
The wide color gamut reproduces almost the entire Adobe® RGB color space, so images shot with Adobe RGB are displayed correctly. Images of vivid blue skies and lush green forests are faithfully reproduced in a way that monitors limited to the sRGB color space cannot display. The wide color range also guarantees the use of almost all ISO-coated and US net-coated CMYK color spaces when printing.
10-bit simultaneous display
Using display port or HDMI input, the monitor offers 10-bit simultaneous display from a LUT (16-bit look-up table), meaning it can display more than a billion colors simultaneously. That's 64 times more colors than you get on an 8-bit display, resulting in even colors and reducing the Delta-E between two adjacent colors.
HDR Gamma support
As an upgrade, EIZO offers optional HLG and PQ curves for the ColorEdge CS2740. Optimized gamma curves make images look more real to the human eye compared to SDR (standard dynamic range).
