Danish Ecolomega® fish oil products meet all the criteria for a top-quality fish oil. They are full-spectrum fish oil, meaning they contain the entire fatty acid profile of fresh fish – the oil has not been chemically treated or artificially concentrated. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids (ALA, EPA, DHA and DPA) as well as other “omegas” from the natural fatty acid profile of fish, i.e. omegas 6, 7 and 9.
Freshness and naturalness give Ecolomega fish oil its fresh and mild taste. That is why it does not cause any aftertaste or reflux in most people. Ecolomega Naturel fish oil does not contain any flavors or aromas.
Due to its neutral taste, many people add Ecolomega to salads, meals, soups or even smoothies, thus ensuring their daily dose of beneficial fatty acids.
Origin
The fish used in Ecolomega products are freshwater rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), which are raised in Danish inland waters. The farms are located no more than 50 km from the production plant. The farming has been awarded the prestigious ASC certificate and meets the certificate's high requirements for ecology, ethics and sustainable production. The fish are used whole: the meat is filleted and the surplus is made into fish oil. So nothing goes to waste.
Ecolomega is uniquely fresh: it takes a maximum of 4 hours from raising the fish to the fish oil being ready to be bottled. The production method also ensures the purity of Ecolomega fish oils: in terms of both heavy metal levels and oxidation values, Ecolomega remains within a fraction of the values and concentrations that are the maximum permitted in the fish oil industry.
Heart, brain, vision
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal functioning of the heart. The beneficial effect is achieved by consuming 250 mg of EPA and DHA daily. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision. The beneficial effect is achieved by consuming 250 mg of DHA daily.
Directions for use:
5-15 ml (1-3 tsp) per day, depending on the amount of fish eaten.
