What is propolis? Propolis, often referred to as “bee glue”, is a natural substance utilised by honey bees to seal crevices and gaps in their hives. Beyond its sealing function, propolis acts as a disinfectant, safeguarding the bee colony against disease outbreaks. Honey bees collect resin from coniferous trees and exudates from specific deciduous trees, blending them with saliva and beeswax to create a sticky, resin-like substance. Commonly sourced from trees like poplar, birch, pine, and spruce, the resin itself often possesses inherent antimicrobial properties, enhancing the innate protective qualities of propolis. Contains ACTIValoe® ACTIValoe® is the world’s most rigorously tested Aloe Vera product, uniquely ensuring a minimum of 10% polysaccharides. Aloe Vera provides ideal conditions for supporting wound healing, owing to its abundant lignin content. Lignin has remarkable skin-penetrating properties that play a crucial role in the healing process. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Wash the affected area and apply a thin layer of the gel. This process can be repeated several times a day until the wound is healed. For external use only. If you have any doubts about wound treatment, consult a veterinarian.
