The DJI RS 3 Mini combines the versatility and ease of the RS family with a lighter, more compact design. The result is an effortlessly portable, lightweight camera stabilizer that is compatible with most common mirrorless cameras. The stabilizer allows even the novice photographer to produce stunningly smooth, high quality video footage. Weighing less than 800 grams, it can be used with cameras weighing up to two kilograms.
The DJI RS 3 Mini is up to half the weight of the Pro, making it easy to use with one hand. Thanks to its small size, the Mini can easily be carried in a shoulder bag. Despite its size, the camera moves reliably thanks to the strong motor of the stabilizer. The stabilizer is compatible with most common mirrorless camera models. Compatible models include the most common Sony A7 and Canon EOS cameras. Other commonly compatible brands include Panasonic, Nikon and Fujifilm.
A modern image stabilizer also meets modern requirements, such as the need to switch between portrait and landscape shooting. This is made possible by a quick-release mount, so that the camera can be switched to the other position in the blink of an eye. The stabilizer also does not limit the camera's angle of view in either position. Third-generation stabilisation technology also helps, with algorithms that ensure a professional and smooth image even in demanding conditions such as varying movements. This also frees the photographer to move more freely and does not require a steady stride.
The connection between the stabilizer and the camera is established via Bluetooth. This allows the camera's shutter button to be controlled directly from the stabilizer, making shooting easier and faster. The image stabilizer is also ready to use as soon as it is switched on, so you can start shooting quickly in demanding situations. If the camera supports remote focus control, such as some Sony cameras, the focus can be easily controlled directly from the easy-to-use wheel dial on the stabilizer without touching the camera.
The stabilizer's own settings can be easily changed on the 1.4" colour touchscreen. The stabilizer provides up to ten hours of power on a single charge. A full battery charge takes just 2.5 hours.
The DJI RS 3 Mini is also available with a range of accessories, including a handy NATO connector. In addition, the stabilizer can be connected to a separate control handle or an external microphone, such as the DJI Mic system for wireless audio recording. The Ronin phone app provides the stabilizer with handy additional functions such as panoramic photography and stunning timelapse videos.
