Discmania's FD1 is a reliable, straight line driver that can handle the toughest throws and the windiest conditions. The FD1 has just the right amount of glide and stability to deliver a straight-flying reel with a confident feid. For the pro player, it can even turn slightly over, yet still return with confidence, but for the hobbyist, this works as a stable straight puck, and can even fill the spot of an overstable fairway driver in the bag. The FD1 is reasonably flattish in profile and fits easily in the hand, making it comfortable and reliable to throw in both backhand and palm throws. This allows the puck to withstand even the strongest pulls. In Discmania's collection, this one sits perfectly between the FD and the FD3. The S-line plastic is firm and durable, providing a good grip even in cooler weather. The S-line FD1 is slightly more understeer than the C-line FD1, but it still doesn't oversteer easily, but it glides & flies longer and doesn't feather as hard at the end. The S-line FD1 is just the perfect fairway driver for most throwers!
