Dexal's energy gels help in maintaining optimal performance during long-lasting or heavy exercises. The carbohydrate composition of Dexal's energy gel has a researched effective 2:1 maltodextrin:fructose ratio, which guarantees effective absorption and is gentle on the stomach. Carbohydrates quickly raise blood sugar levels, restoring alertness and increasing performance.
The carbohydrates in Dexal energy gel help replenish depleted glycogen stores. The minerals in the energy gel help maintain performance during exercise by supporting normal muscle function. Depletion of muscle glycogen stores during training is one of the most significant reasons for muscle fatigue and exhaustion. These energy reserves are mainly depleted during long-term endurance exercise or high-intensity exercises.
Ingredients: Maltodextrin, water, fructose, acidity regulator (citric acid), salt, sodium citrate, magnesium carbonate, potassium chloride, ascorbic acid, flavors (lemon), preservative (potassium sorbate).
Use/Dosage : Depending on the individual, 2-4 gels are enough for a marathon. Remember to drink a sports drink and/or water with the gels, so that the absorption of nutrients into the body is as efficient as possible.
