However, we took faucet design to the next level and expanded our selection with a new type of faucet: Tradition is a single-lever faucet with modern Damixa technology inside. The story behind the updated version of Tradition
Claus Rantzau, who is a design engineer at Damixa, designed a one-shot version of the Tradition. He says that the idea for this came from a desire to update a design classic in such a way that its functionality corresponds to the present day:
"A faucet like this represents a well-known model that has been popular for years. This style is inspired by a romantic French country kitchen, which is why updating the faucet to a single-lever faucet had to be done carefully."
"We spent a lot of time on details to preserve all the characteristics of an old, classic faucet. Using modern production methods, we were able to preserve the original style of materials, shapes, porcelain decorations, etc., while adding modern technology and functions inside the faucet."
