The colour does not penetrate the hair but is created on the surface of the hair, strengthening the hair and enhancing their nuances. Cultivator hair dyes are semi-permanent and gradually leave the hair with washes. The plant pigments work in combination with the hair's natural pigment, so the final colour is influenced by the hair's base colour, previous chemical treatments, the length of time the dye has been applied, and the temperature at which the dye was applied. After the dyeing process, the colour will deepen for another 48h. Vegetal dyes do not contain chemical oxidants and therefore do not bleach the hair. However, vegetable dyes can be used to brighten your own light shade, fade the roots and add a new shade to light hair.
