CTEK POLAR is a unique charger that uses modern advanced technologies and is specially designed to withstand severe frost. The charger has been developed for vehicles whose batteries need good maintenance in winter frosts, such as snowmobiles, ATVs, SUVs and cars.
The CTEK POLAR charger's modified charging voltage function is optimized for charging in extremely cold temperatures. The function is available for both small (snowmobiles and ATVs) and normal-sized batteries (SUVs and cars). Another unique feature is that the reconditioning function (which restores acid build-up and deep-discharged batteries) is available for both small and regular size batteries.
On both sides of the CTEK POLAR charger there is a rubber cable resistant to severe frost. Using an advanced eight-stage charging system, the charger analyzes whether the battery can receive and maintain a charge. The charger is fully automatic and switches to efficient maintenance charging when the battery is fully charged – a big advantage in cold conditions.
CTEK POLAR works well in normal climate conditions, but is adapted to charge in temperatures between -30 and 50°C.
