It also takes on a pale green colour, which makes the soap even more appealing. The base melts easily in a bain-marie, and you can add both colour and fragrance before pouring it into moulds. After an hour, the soap is ready to be removed from the mould – and after 24 hours, you’ll have a bar of soap that is both decorative and moisturising. The moisturising glycerine can cause the soap to ‘sweat’, as glycerine absorbs moisture from the air. Moisture may condense on the surface of the soap. To prevent sweating and ensure the soap lasts, follow the instructions carefully.
