The device is designed for continuous use and it creates controlled ventilation in the space to be installed, by bringing in fresh air and taking exhaust air out. The device's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with an efficiency of up to 85% at best, so in addition to fresh indoor air, you get adjustments in heating costs. In summer, Reco 46 reduces the air heat pump's need for cooling, when the exhaust air cools the warm supply air in the heat exchanger. Thanks to the humidity sensor, the ventilation unit automatically increases the fan power until the humidity reaches the desired level. The sensitivity of the humidity sensor is adjustable.
Reco 46 is excellently suited for garages, warehouses and cottages, for example. The device also makes it possible to improve the ventilation of OKT houses implemented with gravity ventilation. In larger spaces, several devices may be needed in order to achieve sufficient ventilation. In this case, the work cycles of the devices can be scheduled so that some blow out and some blow in at the same time.
The ventilation unit is designed to be installed through the wall. The telescopic structure allows it to be installed in 305 mm - 380 mm thick wall structures. For installation, a d=120 mm hole is made in the wall. The device is easy to electrify using a plug directly from the socket.
