Cracks can be repaired with e.g. chemical metal (Plastic padding) It would be best to store the fountain in a warehouse or shed for the winter. Since this is not possible with large fountains, follow the instructions below. This is how you can make your fountain stay beautiful and last year after year. In the fall, before the temperature drops below freezing, drain the pools by removing the silicone plug at the bottom of the pool. Make sure there is no water left in the foot of the fountain by tilting the foot part. This is important, because when the water freezes, it can split the leg. When the water has been removed, you can put the plug in place so that the foot of the fountain stays dry and meltwater does not get there. It would be advisable to put a fountain hood on the fountain, which is waterproof and UV protected.
