Take a deep breath, because now we are at the heart of happy greetings from Finland. It's about Helge Mether-Borgström's (1913–1985) masterpiece, where a boat sails to the land of thousands of lakes from the west. So simple, yet oh so captivating. Mether-Borgström is also not just any user graphic designer. He created the Marimekko logo in 1954.
Standing in front of this iconic poster, there is really only one question that gnaws at us: Who was the virtuoso who came up with the slogan Finland – Land of Romance?
