The CNOC Vecto water bag is a durable and compact water bag for hiking, trekking and camping. It is an excellent choice for longer hikes, camping and group trips when more water is needed at once. The water bag can be used both to carry clean water and as part of a water purification system.
The Vecto is compatible with most common 28mm coil water purifiers, including the Sawyer Squeeze, Mini and Micro, LifeStraw Flex and HydroBlu Versa Flow. This allows for efficient and flexible water supply directly from natural water without the need for separate fittings.
Many water bags are difficult to fill due to the narrow mouth. Vecto's wide bottom mouth makes filling, cleaning and drying much easier, even in shallow streams and lakes. The water bag is closed by folding it in two and locking it with a sliding lid, which also allows the bag to be hung on a branch or campsite to dry.
The Vecto water bag is made of food-grade TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) material, which combines the flexibility of rubber with the durability of plastic. The material is thin and soft, but very strong - the water bag has a breaking strength of up to around 100 kg. TPU is FDA approved and completely BPA, BPS and BPF free, making it safe for drinking water.
As with all plastic beverage products, a slight plastic taste may initially develop in the water. This is individual and often reduces significantly with careful washing before use and periodically during outings. If necessary, the bag can be cleaned with a tablet such as Corega: add warm water and the tablet to the bag, leave overnight and wash the next day with hot water and dishwashing liquid.
CNOC TPU products may change colour slightly over time. This is because the material does not use BPA, BPS or BPF chemicals, which are commonly used to preserve the clarity of plastics. UV radiation and water chemicals can cause discolouration, but this is not a defect and does not affect the safety or lifetime of the product.
