The CFMOTO 800MT-X is an adventure motorcycle for both asphalt roads and off-road. Offering great riding comfort and functionality, the 800MT-X is designed for long distances on varied trails. With a powerful and reliable twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled 799cc DOHC petrol engine that is ideally suited to a variety of riding conditions, the 800MT-X is at home on major roads and motorways. It offers brisk acceleration and safe overtaking thanks to its 86 Nm maximum torque. Thanks to its powerful engine, the adventure motorbike is also able to tackle the toughest conditions such as sand, gravel, mud and steep climbs with ease. The rider can choose from three riding modes (standard, rain and off-road) to best suit the riding conditions. The large fuel tank has a capacity of 22.5 litres, giving you the freedom to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and set off on your adventures. A large fuel tank means longer driving distances on a single tank.
The 800MT-X has been developed with a strong emphasis on off-road capabilities. For this reason, the motorcycle is equipped with an adjustable YUAN suspension. It has a full 230mm of suspension travel both front and rear. When riding long distances in varying conditions, it is important that bumps and vibrations are not transmitted to the rider and passenger - helping to prevent fatigue and make the ride more comfortable. In addition, the long-travel suspension improves the stability and rideability of the adventure motorcycle and allows for greater load capacity (accessories, camping gear, etc.). The 800MT-X's large 240mm ground clearance allows it to ride over rocks, tree roots, soft terrain and other challenges. The height reduces the risk of ground contact and damage. If your adventures take you into puddles or over shallow water, the bike's height helps prevent water from entering the engine, electrical system and other important parts. The high ground clearance also allows you to ride better in challenging conditions without the risk of getting stuck.
An adjustable windscreen and aerodynamically shaped canopies protect against wind and weather, making long rides more comfortable and safer. The 800MT-X is equipped with LED lights that provide a brighter and sharper light pattern, improving visibility in dark or foggy conditions. The LED lights have a longer lifetime and operate reliably in extreme temperatures and humid conditions. They also consume significantly less energy, which reduces the load on the motorcycle battery. To improve riding comfort, the 800MT-X is equipped with cruise control, which allows a constant speed to be maintained without constant use of the throttle. This small accessory reduces hand and wrist fatigue and helps keep your attention on the road.
The upright riding position and comfortable one-piece seat give the rider a natural and relaxed feel on the bike. The ergonomic riding position reduces strain on the back, neck and wrists, while the upright position gives the rider a better view of the surrounding traffic and road conditions. The higher version (seat height 870mm) allows the driver to see further ahead, which is very important in variable traffic and in challenging conditions such as winding and narrow roads or mountains. In addition, the upright riding position makes it easier to control the bike and the non-slip footrests keep the rider safely in place.
The wet clutch reduces the risk of slipping during sudden braking or gear changes, and is more efficient and lasts longer. These features are very important because the 800MT-X is designed for long distances and difficult terrain where the clutch is used more frequently.
The drive assist sensors detect wheel lean and, in addition to braking power (cornering ABS), control engine power in corners. They help maintain optimum stability and grip even in unexpected situations requiring braking in bends.
The 800MT-X is equipped with tubeless tyres in sizes 90/90-21 at the front and 150/70 R18 at the rear. Tubeless tyres are ideal for both on-road and off-road use, as they have a longer life, are less likely to puncture and, if a repair kit is included, are significantly easier to repair. A tyre pressure monitoring system helps to keep tyre pressures correct.
The vertical TFT display provides the driver with important information in a clear and intuitive way. The large, high-resolution 7-inch screen displays information clearly in both sunlight and darkness. The display shows important information for the driver (speed, revs, fuel consumption, driving settings, etc.) and allows connection to a smartphone.
