The long-awaited 1000MT-X is CFMOTO's new foray into the world of litre motorcycles. A natural successor to the previous MT and MT-X models, the 1000MT-X is a supremely versatile choice for tarmac, gravel and off-road.
Powered by a 946.2 cc in-line twin-cylinder engine that produces 83 kW (112 hp) of maximum power and 105 N-m of maximum torque. In addition to explosive acceleration and performance, the spacious engine delivers smooth power even at lower revs, which is particularly useful in varying terrain.
Every feature and component of the 1000MT-X reflects its balanced high level of capability at the extremes of riding environments. The 500km range of the 22.5 litre fuel tank, the incredibly light 199kg dry weight, KYB suspension, Brembo brakes and Bosch electronics all signal the performance and durability principles on which the bike is built.
With dozens of different stiffness levels, the KYB suspension can be fine-tuned to suit conditions, route plans and rider preference. The 48mm USD front fork and rear monoshock can be made comfortably soft for long rides, or performance-strong for technical off-road trails. No tools are required to make adjustments, so you can do it "on the road".
For varying riding environments, the 1000MT-X comes standard with top-quality Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. Adventure-style off-road tires provide balanced grip and ride comfort on asphalt and off-road.
Bosch's advanced ABS system includes a 3-speed adjustable cornering function that controls brake power in real time based on the speed and lean of the motorcycle. Cornering ABS helps maintain control of the bike even during emergency braking, which would otherwise cause dangerous situations on steep curves.
The motorcycle's "dashboard", detailed information and settings are even easier to view on the new 8-inch touchscreen display. In addition to these basic features, all 1000MT-Xs sold in Finland are equipped with a T-BOX unit as standard equipment, which allows the vehicle to be connected to the CFMOTO Ride mobile app.
The CFMOTO Ride app offers, among other things. Motoplay functions, the ability to track and record ride data, keyless start, anti-theft system and OTA updates for the motorcycle. The 1000MT-X also offers the new MASTER riding mode settings, which can be adjusted via the app.
