The Carcassonne base game is required to play this add-on. You can also combine this with other Carcassonne add-ons. In this Carcassonne add-on, you participate in the King's Tournament. Send knights, highwaymen and peasants from your major regions to compete for the best prizes. If you win, a valuable statue will be erected in your honour. Summary of the content of the add-on: - The tournament tile and the crown that circulates on it determines which of the three tournaments is next. - The identity tile (0, 1, 2, 3 and 5) indicates which of your followers is participating in the tournament. If you continue on your turn to a road, town or field where your follower is, you can nominate that follower to participate in the road/town/field tournament by placing one of your unused tags under it. The tournament value of a participant in a tournament is the value of the participant's tile + the size of the road/town or the number of tiles around the follower in the field. - Depending on the number of players, tournaments take place 3-6 times during the game, where the followers of the players participating in that tournament type compete to see who gets the prize tile as part of their town.
