The Carcassonne base game is required to play this add-on. You can also combine this with other Carcassonne add-ons. In this Carcassonne add-on, a hungry dragon stalks his followers. Stay out of the dragon's path, summon a fairy for protection, or return to lost areas via the Magic Portal. Summary of the add-on: - The Dragon's Lair tiles bring the dragon to the board, and the tile placer can direct the dragon (within the rules) in any direction they wish. - The Dragon symbol tile activates the dragon, which lunges forward and eats any followers left behind! - The fairy will arrive to protect the follower of your choice on the map if you ever complete a road or city that you don't score points for. When a dragon moves into a square with a fairy, the dragon is removed from the game and the owner of the fairy moves it to the nest of his choice. In addition, the fairy gives 3 points when the area of the follower it protects is completed. - The Magic Portal allows you to place a follower on any board (subject to the usual rules for placing a follower).
