The Carcassonne base game is required to play this add-on. You can also combine this with other Carcassonne add-ons.
In this Carcassonne add-on, merchants and peddlers arrive in towns. Collect the products offered by the merchants and get your piggy into the fields to collect extra points. The timberman speeds up the building of roads and towns.
Summary of the content of the add-on:
- Merchandise (Chickens, Fabrics and Grain) are symbols on the town squares. When a player builds a city, he receives tiles corresponding to the commodity symbols found in the city. At the end of the game, the player with the majority of chickens/fabrics/grain gets 10 points.
- The bullfighter is placed on the road with the road troop or in the town with the knight. When a player continues on that road or town, he immediately gains an additional point.
- A pig is placed in a field with a farmer. When scoring any Imperial Town, all players' pigs are scored (3 points per town) and the pig returns to the player's stock (with or without the pawn that was the pig's companion).
