BYD BATTERY BOX PREMIUM HVM 2.76 -ENERGY STORAGE MODULE UNIT (2.76 kWh / 51.2 V)BYD Battery Box Premium HVM high voltage batteries are suitable for ON-Grid solar power plants and various backup power solutions as high quality energy storage. Now you can professionally store the energy produced by your solar panels in a BYD battery system and use all the energy produced for your own use. If desired, the system will automatically operate as a 3-phase backup power supply during a power outage using the OFF-Grid principle, allowing you to safely operate all your home electrical appliances even during an outage.
Scalability makes BYD Battery Boxes a viable solution for both single-family homes and larger industrial and commercial applications. The system allows you to increase and manage your home's energy independence in a high-quality but simple way.
Energy Storage ComponentsThe Battery Box Premium HVM energy storage system consists of 3-8 2.76 kWh / 51.2 V HVM battery modules connected in series, plus a control unit and mounting base. Each energy storage box has a working capacity of 8.3 to 22.1 kWh. The energy storage box has a modular design and can be expanded to a larger size with separate 2.76 kWh modules. The energy storage can thus be increased to a larger size later on as needed by adding individual HVM modules to the box, as well as by expanding the energy storage to its peak with parallel HVM stacks. The maximum capacity of the HVM system, 66.2kWh, is achieved by connecting three identical Battery Box Premium HVM 22.1kWh module stacks in parallel.

ApplicationsBYD Battery Box Premium batteries are compatible with hybrid inverters such as the Symo GEN24 Plus from Fronius, which support smart solar battery systems. You can monitor and manage your energy production and consumption even more comprehensively using mobile devices by installing a Fronius Smart Meter energy meter in your electricity system. By combining the BYD Battery Box with other home systems, such as heating or electric vehicle charging, it is possible to achieve truly high levels of electricity self-consumption and self-sufficiency.
The modular design of the BYD B-Box energy storage system makes it easy to assemble, move and grow energy storage units of different sizes as needed. The parallel connection allows three batteries to be used simultaneously in one system and is suitable for both 1- and 3-phase systems. By installing an Enwitec isolation centre, compatible with Fronius inverters, for example, in your home's electricity network, you can also use the energy storage system safely on the OFF-Grid principle during power cuts. Normally, in the event of a power outage, for example, your own solar power system has to be switched off to prevent accidental power from entering the public grid during grid maintenance. Thanks to the BYD Battery Box energy storage system, this risk does not arise and you can safely use the stored electrical energy for your home appliances even during a power cut.
HVM vs HVS - Voltage difference between modulesThe more efficient HVS modules have a nominal voltage of 102.4 V per module, while the HVM modules have a nominal voltage of 51.2 V per module. On the other hand, the capacity of the HVM can be increased very widely, up to 22.1 kWh x 3 = 66.2 kWh. Different voltages affect the charging and discharging capacities of the batteries. This allows you to choose between two options for the battery system that best suits your application. However, the modules cannot be mixed, so please follow the manufacturer's installation and assembly instructions carefully.
* Please ensure that the inverter you are using always has the latest software update installed to ensure correct and optimal operation of the inverter and battery storage.
