A pleasantly thin, stretchy, soft and warm helmet hood made from technical fleece. Can also be worn as a tube scarf. Ideal for active pursuits in cold weather, such as skiing, cycling or downhill skiing.
The Thermonet Hinged balaclava is knitted to shape using dense and warm Primaloft fleece fibre. The result is a lightweight, well-fitting balaclava that keeps you warm, protects against the wind and effectively wicks moisture away from the skin. The flat seams do not press or chafe the skin. The lower part can easily be pulled up under the chin. There is a hidden opening at the nape for a ponytail.
Thermonet® is a material developed by Buff® that combines insulating Primaloft with recycled polyester fibre to wick moisture away from the skin. The result is a lightweight, warm and breathable fabric. Over half of the fabric is made from recycled material sourced from plastic bottles. One recycled plastic bottle has been used to manufacture a single helmet hood.
